Chip & Tip Repair

Chip Repair
Chips can result from cutting hard materials or accidental mishandling. Our experts remove chips by reshaping and reducing the blade’s height to create a new, sharp edge. Whether it’s a high-carbon steel or ceramic knife, we’ll restore its cutting performance.
Broken Tip Repair
A broken knife tip is no problem for us. We carefully grind the blade to recreate a sharp, functional tip. Depending on the extent of damage, we:
Adjust the Blade’s Curvature: Create a new point by reshaping the top edge.
Recreate the Blade’s Belly: Maintain the upper edge while reshaping the blade below.
While your knife may be slightly shorter after the repair, it will regain full usability.
Bent Blades and Tips
Minor bends in blades or tips can often be straightened with care. For severely bent tips, a new tip may need to be crafted. Flexible knives, like fillet knives, are harder to straighten, but we’ll let you know if repair is possible.
Twisted or Bent Edges
Misused knives often suffer bent or twisted cutting edges. We grind these down to create a straight, true blade. This process may slightly reduce the blade’s height but will restore its functionality.
